Business Credit Cards

A business credit card is underwritten around company spending: its bonus categories, controls and terms are built for business purchases. It shares the "credit card" keyword with consumer cards, but it is a different market with different criteria — and it is not what our main ranking evaluates.

Why this page exists

The business and consumer markets are easy to mistake for one another because both sell "credit cards." Publisher roundups of the category keep them apart for a reason: the candidate pool this desk assembled for the 2026 run includes business entries (Chase's Ink Business Unlimited®, for example) listed separately from the consumer ten, and the consumer publishers' category winners — best welcome bonus, best grocery card, best flat-rate rewards — are all awarded within the consumer track. Our method treats that split as a scored dimension (category fit), so the two markets never share one list or one scoring formula.

What a business credit card is evaluated on

These are evaluation criteria, not product claims — we have not verified individual business cards against them yet, and nothing here is financial advice.

FAQ

Is a business credit card the same as a consumer credit card?

No. A business credit card is underwritten around company spending and its terms, protections and bonus categories are built for business purchases; a consumer card is underwritten around personal credit. Our main ranking covers consumer credit cards only, because scoring both on one scale would compare unlike products.

Why does this site not rank business credit cards?

Category fit is a scored dimension in our method: business cards are judged on business-oriented bonus categories, employee-card controls and statement tooling, not on the personal-spending net-annual-value formula our main list publishes. A shared list would blur both evaluations. When business-card coverage warrants a separate run, it publishes under the same public-method rules.

For the other senses of the phrase: our consumer credit card ranking and the charge card page. Terms apply to every product named; verify current terms with the issuer.
